After a screen replacement the iPhone goes to the Apple logo for about 3 seconds then lcd dims completely. Have tried multiple screens. Phone still reads in iTunes. I don’t want to try restoring just yet because of customer data. I already replaced the filter and still showing same behavior. Tested the three caps for shorts and all are good. No signs of shorts anywhere in circuit that I tested. Coil itself visibly looks good with no signs of damage. Also main lcd connector shows no signs of damage. Does anyone have experience whether this is possibly the diode or driver ic? Since it’s near the cpu I want to avoid as much heat as possible. Any suggestions would be great, thanks again!
In addition to @brokegadget suggestion, you may try to turn your phone to DFU mode. I would suggest you to check & clean (using the right process) the connector pins. Hope this helps, Vincent
