Hi Guys.. I m a beginner.. i m learning about smd board repair. Anybody cuold explain me, how can i verify if the filter (For Example fl2024 - iphone 6) is ok or working properly? I often see the videos on youtube, somebody check them withmultimer in continuity mode or check OHM. I want to know : Which is the correct way to verify them? Can i check it without battery , without on the phone? Thanks a lot
Hi, to test a filter what you need to do it get a multimeter and put it in continuity mode (This is also called diode mode I believe). All filters should have continuity through them so if you put any probe on one side of the filter and then the other probe on the other side you should hear a beep meaning that both sides of the filter receive a signal. If you don’t have that beep then the filter is faulty or it’s not properly connected to the pads. Hopefully, that helped
