Hi guys, While trying to self-repair a iphone 6, the adhesive strip tore and could not be pulled out, so i ended up levering the battery out. In the process, it was bent a bit, probabaly about 15-20 degree or so. The picture below is already flattened out. You can see the wrinkle left by the bending.
Should I continue using this battery? Thanks!
NEVER Tiny deformations after the manufacturing of the battery may lead to catastrophic failure, it may not be immediately apparent but it can show up after some time of use. Just look at how royally &&^&@@ up Samsung is right now.
