Hi. I just replaced my old iPhone 6 battery with a new one because the old one kept shutting down and only had 50% battery health. I ordered a new one online for the iPhone 6 and the installation went well. The problem I ran into is that the battery percentage won’t increase after a few hours of charging. It was in 30% when i first tested the battery and it only decreased to 23% instead of actually increasing the charge. Is there any way to fix this?
If your phone is not charging and it is a new battery it could be your charging dock but it is most likely an IC on the logic board known as (tristar) it is one of two charging IC’s and is often the cause of the problem you are having.
