I’ve got an iPhone 6 that won’t charge. I confirmed the wall charger works. I’m getting 1.19v on the battery connector when it’s plugged in. The customer said they have been using after market chargers. Could this be a bad U2 IC or something else?
Buy an inexpensive USB amp meter to connect between charger and phone. This will help you see if the phone is actually charging or not. Similarly, try a known good battery to differentiate between not charging or not booting
After market chargers are the root cause of u2 chips failure. Almost guaranteed u2 chip is bad and needs replacing.
