I have been having this same problem.. four times…. I got this iPhone 6s last January, which was working perfectly until last April. The phone was charged overnight and when i woke up the phone wont turn on.. It stayed that way for 4 days of leaving it chsrged and it turned on again..Then the next 2 days, it did the same thing again… left it for 3 days charging and it worked again.A week later, it turned on! But after a day it started doing weird things such as showing a yellow screen, overheating and charging very slowly. After that in turned off.. It was off until yesterday, when i bought a new charger for the iPhone. Suprisingly, it turned on again??? But after more overnight charging, today it turned off again.. Please help me recover my iPhone theres too many important data there and fyi, i tried the home+power method but i realized my home button is not responding. Can you help me figure out methods?
You would need to rule out parts first. · Battery · Screen · Charge port assembly Although being a 6s it is more likely a shorted Wi-Fi IC it would explain the overheating. If you need your data the Wi-Fi chip would have to be removed by a reputable repairer.
The battery seems to be faulty, a replacement would be advised. Or you try to clear out the ram by holding down the power and home buttons simultaneously on startup, keep the phone connected to a power source while attempting.
