Chosen Solution
I recently swapped my screen on an iPhone 6. After the swap I lost use of front camera / earpiece / everything on that cable. Visual inspection, everything looked alright, but I went ahead and replaced the front camera flex cable anyway. Still no luck with the new flex cable. I am now noticing the phone is getting warm and draining battery quick. Are the odds good that I screwed up another flex cable? Could there be any other issues?
I am having a very similar issue after a 6 plus swap, but with the flex cable attached, this unit won’t even boot. If I learn anything from my question, I’ll share it here.
