Hi guys, I have an iPhone 6. Not water damaged. Everything else works fine except home button click. When press home button, nothing happened. Fingerprint works though. Upon further diagnosis, I found there is no continuity on BUTTON_TO_AP_MENU_KEY_L. There is continuity between C2167 and R2160, but no continuity between R2160 and DZ2110. Could anyone tell me which component to replace? Or simply jump R2160 to DZ2110?
The Continuity issue may just be a “Cold solder” joint. Have you removed the 2 and checked the pads themselves for continuity? Does DZ2110 have continuity with the fpc pin? ground?? You may want to double check the home button “Mechanics” due to not clicking, just remove it, set it on a table and try to click it… it may have broken internally or just got stuck in the closed position.
