Chosen Solution

Hey, so I had a pretty wild night tonight and I vaguely remember my iPhone 6 coming in contact with water and now the home button is basically constantly activated (if I unlock it, within a couple seconds Siri is activated). It’s in rice right now, is there a way to fix this at home or should I just let the nerds with fully developed left brains do it for me? Thanks!

Leave it to the repair shops that do micro-soldering / liquid damage repairs for iPhones they can properly decontaminate and repair any damaged or corroded components inside the phone. Unfortunately rice does nothing when it comes to liquid damage and electronics. It will evaporate all the liquids outside the phone but not inside.
