i changed home button on iphone 6 2 times on 2 phones have same problem:
- touch id not working
- upgrading or dfu mode will not work anymore
Unlike Samsung home button, iPhone 5S, 6 or 6 plus touch id function will lose if the home button is replaced. As Apple has already stated that fingerprint data is stored on the A8 chip in a Secure Enclave that is only accessible by the sensor itself, the Touch ID sensor is tied to the unique logic board inside each iPhone. If you break the original Touch ID sensor then that iPhone 5S will not have Touch ID function any longer.
You can’t upgrade with a replacement home button on the 6 6+ Or it will not work as you have done and you lose Touch ID
Will never work, period. Also do not update or restore iOS or the phone dies altogether.
