Chosen Solution
Okay, so I’ve just finished replacing an iPhone 6 screen (switching over the original home button), however I’ve now found that the home button does not work at all. I have tried a different home button to test the flex cable attached to the backplate and that works fine so it’s not that. I believe I must have damaged the home button itself/it’s flex cable when removing it from the original screen. Basically I was just wondering if there is any way to repair a damaged home button or any other suggestions of what I could do. Thanks!
It is possible, however as hard as brain surgery. Try your skills and luck.
