Last night I leaved my phone with %70 charged. I woke up at 2 AM o’clock (3 hours later) I saw my battery is %20. So I tested it without get it in stand by mode (turned off the auto lock). So I woke up at 7 o’clock, and I saw my phone in %12(just %8 lost) So as I can understand that my phone is draining battery without use more than use it. Addination: this issue started after replace screen and power iu Update (12/16/2017) That not worked, I replaced battery and still not fixed. I did re-calibration and restore with itunes, erase all data and settings. Still not fixed
Hello maybe I can help you I had same issue yesterday with custommer iphone 6 draining battery only in stanby I’ve started by replacing u1700 ic “u2” but after replace it was same but custommer has previosly changed lcd in other repair shop and has also touch id failure but I was in that that they damage flex cable or something but that was not the problem the problem was that they shorted cirquit pp3v0_MESA and the capacitor on this line was broken and shorted so try to check this line if it beeps in diode mode than you have to find shorted cap mine was c2133 but it might be any of caps on this line there are 4or 5 caps there..After removing this cap touch id is working again and no battery drain in standby..With regards Viktor Mach Slovakia
A few things you could try: Look for apps that may be running in the background overnight. Some applications could be using data at night and thats a real battery drain. Some believe it or not use more data when you are not actively using the device. Try battery re-calibration - http://www.appledystopia.com/how-to/cali...It may be time to replace the battery. If the phone holds a charge all throughout the day but drains only at night, and this is new behavior, it may be time to replace the battery. There is a walk through available here for that, or you can find a local professional / friend to do the work for you.
@svsdmr05, Apple just released 11.2.1. Upgrade to this first. Then go to settings –> General –> Reset –> Reset all Settings. Don’t restore from backup. Also, if you have youtube installed, make sure that is the latest, as that has a battery drain issue by itself.
