I have installed several of these kits. I have never had an issue with the logo not being flush. You might have it slightly misaligned or it could simply be a low quality kit. The ones I ordered all came from ebay and were around $10. I did get one that was missing adhesive once. It is also possible there is an extra piece of plastic that needs to be removed for it to sit flush. The one missing the adhesive had a layer of clear plastic that had to be removed for it to sit flush. The layer was already cut and almost appeared like the plastic you would find covering adhesive.
