Hi Everyone, I just got my battery from iFixit and swapped my iPhone 6’s battery, did a drain and full charge. After the full charge I tried plugging my iPhone to various chargers and now it is only charging at around 0.8-0.95 amps. I am using an usb amp meter to see the amps and here are the things I tried:

  • Used 3 different certified mfi cables (2 of them are Anker) both charge iPad mini 2 at around 1.9 amps. -Used 2 different usb wall adapters (1 anker 24watt brick, 1 apple 10watt brick) again both tested with iPad mini 2. -Tried cleaning lightning port from lint and other debris. Anyone have any idea why my iphone is not taking in any more than 0.95 amps?

Try getting the phone to drain to around 20-60%. It’s only going to charge less than 1 amp when you go above 60%. 1.67A is probably the max charging speed for iPhone 6.
