Hi so i’m currently trying to repair my brother iPhone 6 Plus. The screen doesn’t show anything. Been charging for quiet a while so thought it may have been something to do with the battery. Bought a replacement battery, installed it and no luck. Also have replaced the screen as i thought that may have been a problem too. I then got my multi meter to see if it was actually receiving charge and it was receiving just over 3.8volts. Have ordered a new logic board for it but apparently wont arrive in Australia til April. What do you guys think ? Thanks
Hate to say this but you should have tried plugging into the computer to see if it shows up on iTunes if you haven’t already before buying another logic board. What happened before the iPhone 6 plus died, did it just suddenly die for no reason? Also try checking if the apple logo appears with the battery disconnected and charger plugged in. This can also be a no backlight issue, when trying to turn it on shine a flashlight on the screen and see if you see a dim apple logo on the middle of the screen.
