Hi, I often repair iPhone’s however this was my first time replacing an iPhone 6 screen. I always check the screen works prior to fitting, which when I connected the replacement screen it didn’t work. Just to check that the phone was still turned on, I connected the old screen which didn’t work. After disconnecting it and reconnecting it, it worked. Thinking it was me with the replacement screen maybe not clipping the connectors on properly I tried it again with no prevail. After this I still can’t get either the original screen or the replacement screen to work. Can anyone give me any advice as what to do next? Thanks in advanced, Harry

What do you mean it doesn’t work? It doesn’t turn on? Touchscreen not working? Backlight not working?

I believe it’s the back light, I think I’ve turned the phone off by the touch screen but am not definite it work. So I’d say it was the backlight. I’ve also tried both the damaged and replacement screen on my phone (a different phone) as to which they both work. The phone is working fine as I can plug it into iTunes and noises and vibrations are made. Thanks Harry

Have you tried pressing and holding the Power and Home buttons together down for a while until it restarts?

Yes, I have tried hard resetting it multiple times, as well as dis connecting the battery to try and remove the charge from the system. Just unsure what there is left to try.

Hi Harry, you can check the LCD cable interface is connected. if u need more iphone parts, can buy from the partsifixit, is good price.
