Chosen Solution

So I use the glue remover and polarizer remover, clean the LCD and apply a new polarizer layer. I tried redrawing the leads for the static also. I have done about 6 LCD’s and none of them work with the touch. You can touch it at the very top and bottom but the middle is unresponsive. I’ve tried different oca’s but nothing. Am I missing something? If I apply just the polarizer it works fine. As soon as the oca touches the LCD, the digitizer is unresponsive.

I am working on it as-well. I was loosing total touch in the beginning running standard settings on the Vacuum lamination machine and then the autoclave. I now run the lamination at 1.2 on the gauge instead of the standard 2.7-3 and the plate drops extremely slow. Also I run it manually, I have the plate drop “watching it” and only let it laminate for 1-2 seconds then hit the “red stop”. Now for the Autoclave I have turned it down to 2.7 from the preset 4.2 even though all the info available says 6.2 is OK. its way to high for the 6 from my findings. This is as far as i have got and am not losing touch anymore. But its not perfect and i still think the polarizer need some looking into. Touch still works with this method. I hope to find the exact problem and solution soon. I only know what it is not. its not the conductive glue, its not the glass or OCA because some are perfect and others are not with the same material 50+ units tested. I encourage you guys to test at every stage, seek out the best quality refurbish parts and try to run your machines at as little pressure as possible. I am going to run another few units tomorrow and just keep turning the machines down till they will not work and then try to operate just above that threshold. One thing is for certain the YouTube videos and the machines they are promoting are in no way addressing this real problem? Makes you think WHY?

I’m facing same problem I just found why you can see and focus at iPhone 6 lcd edges you will find them curved so this will short the vertical and horizontal lines that are not visible to human eye anyway until now no such a solution only loca can solve it easily Thanks if you find out please share us

can you post a pic of the lcd with the polarizer install and the redrawing for the static

For the static I usually follow the original standard after putting polarizer you can put two drops one upper left and right corner the drops should touch the polarizer on each corner this is for iPhone 6 and you can take a photo after removing cracked glass and apply them as it is

the OCA is No good OCA, u can try use the KN6.2 UV OCA, it is Good

friend, maybe it is OCA have friend, can change the OCA. The KN6.2 UV OCA is OK, we use it good !
