My iPhone 6 shut down yesterday while I was running, using Pandora and MapMyRun apps. I noticed my phone was pretty hot. Now it will not turn on. Any idea what can be done/replaced? Thanks!
You can try a hard rest by holding the power and home button down for 30 seconds. Sometimes you may have to do this a few times before it will work or even hold them down a bit longer. If that doesn’t work you could try charging it for awhile then trying again.
The phone displays a temperature warning if it gets too hot. Put it aside for a bit, charge it, and try booting it up again. I have seen this happen due to battery and another time due to cracked screen.
