Hi all, I’ve changed the headphone / jack cable on my iphone 6 twice. Both times the headphone jack would work but the power connector was dead - any ideas?
Seeing as you have already tried two dock connectors. Was the phone also not charging with the original dock connector that came with the phone? It sounds like the Tristar charging IC is at fault here which requires micro soldering to replace that chip on the logic board. The phone decided to stop charging one day right? If it is Tristar you’ll have to take it to a reputable phone shop that does board level repairs on iPhones.
