I broke my screen a few months back; I tried replacing it once but I got a dodgy screen from amazon so I returned it and left the phone open inside a box for a month or so before I got a new screen replacement. The phone has 0% battery at this point. After I complete the repair and plug the phone in, I don’t see anything on the screen and it doesn’t show up in iTunes. I leave it charging overnight and in the morning, it still won’t show up on iTunes or show any signs of life. I’ve looked around for some solutions and found a few suggestions of taking out the battery connector, I did so and still no luck. Any other suggestions?
you can try replacing the battery, that would at least take the charging out of the equation. if nothing still, make sure that while it was on storage, it didn’t get wet. you could have had water damage. in that case check on water damage solutions. you may want to try a new screen and digitizer.
