Couple of weeks ago, my iPhone 6 screen would work and stop working, then work again, in that cycle. Then, all of sudden it just turned off, but I switched the vibrate button and it vibrated, so I knew then and there my LCD was broken because for one, the screen is kinda cracked. But then, it just turned slap off. I’ve tried the power + home button, Doesn’t work anymore. When I plug it into my charger on my Mac, it’s recognized by iTunes. And it makes a beep noise like every 5 seconds. And the message on iTunes always says “Your iPhone couldn’t be (something) because it is locked with a passcode.” So does that means its on? It still doesn’t vibrate or anything even when plugged into the charger. It only makes any type of noise when its plugged into the charger, and the computer.

It sounds like the LCD assembly is messed up. Changing the front LCD assembly should fix the issue

I have the same problem, I bought a new screen and it still didnt fix it and a new battery, and now iam thinking it might be the charging port, so ill tell you how that goes

If an iPhone is locked you cannot sync it with iTunes. If you want to turn it on you need to plug in your passcode… If your display is broken and the digitizer still works (touch), This might work…

Connect the iPhone to a Mac. Open Quicktime > File > New Movie recoding There will be an arrow next to the record button pointing downward which gives you the option to select the iPhone screen. This should put the screen on the Mac and you can guess where the numbers are based on that and type in the passcode. You can also be sure it’s the screen that’s the issue.
