Hello everyone. I’ve heard of touch disease and I’ve encountered this many times. Sometimes I get a bad digitizer or one that has touch issues but when I open the phone the digitizer works. Reseat the screen and no touch. I’m seeing this everyday. Any idea how to repair this? Replacing the screen doesn’t seem to work every time. Thanks in advance.
Your only options are to replace the Touch IC chip or reflow the solder pads on the Touch IC chip. other than that there is not much else that can be done. i encountered a iPhone 6 recently and it had Touch Disease. The owner would bend the phone to get touch to work and i replaced the screen on it and because he tried to bend it again to see if he can get it to work he Broke the LCD again.
