Hello, I have an iPhone 6s and time ago I changed the battery in it, after some time the phone got extremely hot and now it won’t pass the apple logo. I already changed the battery but the phone still won’t boot (Now the new battery is drain and it won’t charge nothing shows in the screen) I try restoring through iTunes but the phone is not recognize. I also check the voltage getting to the battery and it’s 0.5V. Can a faulty charging port prevent the phone from booting even if the battery is fully charged? Thanks
Sounds like you received a faulty battery. You should not buy a battery from that distributor again and get a new battery form some other distributor.
