My phone showed the accessory not supported after I plugged the charging cable in, than that messaged popped up so switched the phone off while cable is connected to the phone (my phone use to charge this way if I had such problem with a cable or charging block or I simply replace the cable and works fine). As I went back to my phone after a while it didn’t want to power on nor showed the flat battery sign. I thought my battery was now just drained or maybe my charging block or cable is acting up again. (the phone does nothing at this point no low battery sign or phone getting hot ). Took it to repair shop to check they said it isn’t the charging block or battery as I assumed. I had an old battery that had some power in it, I’ve inserted that battery than only had the flex connecting the screen plugged in and it went on but only shows apple logo than screen goes on, off , on , off (repeatedly) . what could be the problem in this case ?is there any solution to this?
It sounds like you possibly used aftermarket charging cables and damaged the tristar ic. I would check with your local repair shops and see if someone has a tristar tester to verify it. The tristar controls the charging and data in and out of the phone.
