Hi guys, I’ve got a issue with my iPhone6s on yesterday, when I was try to press home button on my iPhone6s whichs on charging, suddenly get shutdown…. I was try to turn on my iPhone6s with Apple support guide, nothing work. So, base on the troubleshooting, there is the symptom on my iPhone6s:

  1. Try to re-turn on my IPhone6s only press power button, not working
  2. Try to press Power button + Home button to do the hard-reset, not working.
  3. Try to charging with power adapter an hour, still not working and did not dispaly anything..
  4. Try to charging with iPad’s power adapter an hour to retry, not working.
  5. So, I’ve try above method and nothing are working. I decide to teardown my iPhone6s with iFixit toolkit.
  6. I’ve check in and disconnected the battery connector and re-connect to retry, still…nothing work My iPhone 6s spec: iPhone 6s, 64GB, A1700, iOS 9.3.2. Hope anyone can help me to bring my iPhone 6s back! Thanks in advance!

Unplug the battery then plug the charger in, if it shows apple logo then it’s probably a bad battery. Also if you want try turning it on with home button extension cable unplugged. Make sure battery is unplugged before you plug or unplug screen connectors or you will risk blowing backlight on the phone.
