Hello, my iphone has got a water damage. only the upper parts. first of all, i switched it off and denn after 2h i switched on and it was ok. after 3 hours the screen has started to flicker. so i switched off and put it in rice for 2 days. i was not lucky because the screen got worse and then i opened it and cleaned the logic board with alcohol 99,5%. i measure the voltage of the battery and it was ok! after reassembly the iphone… no reaction. when i connect it to the computer, it will be recognized but i can’t get my data because it es scured with a code. Even in Itunes i can’t backup it, because i have to enter the passcode. i tried with touch id, voiceover but they didn’t work for me what should i do? Thank you
Sounds like the LCD needs replacing to me. If the phone is showing signs of life other than that then try a new LCD.
