My wife’s iPhone 6s cannot accept calls. The phone can call out but any attempt to reach the phone results in an engaged signal. She made a call this morning but could not terminate the call, there was no red button to end the call. This call does not appear on the call history. .She has done a complete reset back to factory settings.

If it can call out and all software reset has been done, there is nothing wrong with the phone, issue is with cellular network/carrier plan. Check with your carrier for troubleshooting.

Firstly, make sure your iphone is updated to the latest IOS. If you go to Settings > General > About and ensure it is 15.4 or 15.5. Please note that iPhone 6s is on it’s last leg of availability for receiving updates from Apple so this might be an issue next year. Also in this same location check and see if there needs to be a carrier update, it will have instructions if need be.Next, turn your phone into airplane mode, and wait 5 seconds before turning offCheck the Do Not Disturb setting. Go to Settings > Focus > Do Not Disturb and make sure it’s off.Next, try resetting your network settings. Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. If this does not resolve your issue still, please let me know and I will continue to help troubleshooting.
