I have a mainly functioning iPhone 7. It works as normal until it is switched off, then once turned back on, it hangs on the Apple logo, sometimes indefinitely, but sometimes will carry on starting up after around 15 minutes. To get out of this, I have to plug the phone into my pc and hold down power and volume down, then it works as normal. I’ve tried restoring via recovery mode and even DFU mode, but nothing has changed. Is it worth replacing the battery to see if this helps?
a battery will not repair a software issue, if you have DFU the phone and updated with the latest software your issue would best be resolved by stopping by the Apple storeand explaining this to them. I have heard of about 4 people having this issue and Apple replaces the phone.
