Hi, I’ve just replaced screen iPhone 7 plus for a customer, after that she checked and both front and back camera are not working(I don’t know if she broke before or I did it). I have tried to reseat front camera but no help. I replaced aftermaket front camera and it won’t work too(I heard aftermarket camera won’t work on ios 11???). I haven’t tried original camera yet. PLease let me know what happen? Thank you very much!
Hello, I would recommend an original camera as they tend to always work. You can find these on eBay and ifixit but if you are searching on eBay put in a genuine Apple iPhone 7 plus camera. The best ones that I use are used but high-quality new parts are available on ifixit. Also, have a look at the connectors and the connections you are making to the board=. Sometimes they can be a bit off and make a problem. Hope that helped
try disconnecting the front camera and powering the phone on, if back camera works then its your front flex or connection
