Hi, I have with me here an iPhone 7 plus which has been through the wars a bit, I replaced nearly everything on the phone as it arrived to me completely dead. Everything on the phone works, the only thing that doesn’t and its a deal breaker, is that when the charging port is plugged in to the fpc on the phone, the phone gets no service, when its removed the phone can get a weak signal. Any ideas why this is? Thanks
Usually it’s one of the antenna cables from the charging flex are no good and pulling down the signal. Try unplugging one of them and see if it works. If not plug that one back in and try another one. You may need to replace the charging assembly as a last resort. Having one connected is sufficient if I remember correctly having both is better for reception.
