Hi, I changed a screen on a white iPhone 7 plus and now the touch id isn’t working anymore. The home button works fine. When I want to add fingerprint it"s just showing the begin screen but nothing more happens. What could be the problem? Can it be a bad connector from the screen? Update (01/08/2018) I’ve changed the screen and everything was back working again. So there was something wrong with the screen/connectors .

plz removed this cable and check working or no?

Unfortunately, Apple has a monopoly on this technology and usually has to do with the Home Button. I have done 3 repairs on 7’s and 2 failed to recognize the home button. I have not seen it fixed with an iOS update or complete restart.

Make sure that you are using the phones original home button as they are specifically paired with the phones cpu any other home buttons will have a different key and will not work Hope this helps
