Hey guys, I’ve replaced an iPhone 7 Display (refurbished, original LCD), but after I powered the iPhone on, I couldn’t add a fingerprint anymore. The fault indication (that Touch ID has a failure) does not appear in the homescreen, but appears if I try to add a new fingerprint. Homebutton (still the original one) and 3D are working without any problems. Thanks in advance for your help.
Usually it’s due to the home button extension cable from the screen being faulty. You’ll need to try another screen to confirm that.
