Phone connects sometimes but then loses connection. Sometimes a power down fixes it but at other times it doesn’t. Telstra Auatralia has “Telstra Wi-Fi Call” that saves the day but only when I can connect to a Wi-Fi network. Intermittent issues are a PAIN. Fortunately my iphone 5s works still so I can swap the SIM and make a call if I need to. I have done all the basic settings fixes. Help would be most appreciated.
is the sim card relatively new or have you had it for a while. they do out date if they are old and can intermittently lose signal. people used to have this issue when I worked for telefonica o2 in the uk and replacing them for a new sim would fix the issue, especially in newer handsets capable of better connections.
Internally, the antenna that connects to the network might be damaged from a hard fall or shock. You might check the antenna inside of the iphone. Best of luck, Apple Maniac.
