Recently i purchased a iphone 8 which in brand new condition (actually a demo unit for apple) It was quite new with the look and also the battery is at 98% Then a couple of days ago I saw this gap between the housing and the display on TOP & BOTTOM of the iphone 8. i don’t weather is it normal in this model or it is a indication of a issue with the housing or the battery bulging Through the gap in the bottom is not much, i mean it’s visibly there but the gap on the TOP is much like there is a gap with the same size of a FINGERNAIL.
Gap where? Between rear chassis and screen? If so and on the left side it probably is a swollen battery.
The top gap is obviously mechanical failure, not sure how unless you take it apart. Unless it’s dirt cheap, don’t buy.
