Hello, Have an iPhone 8 with a fried logic board. Bought an unlocked motherboard and home button in an attempt to get the phone working again. 2 questions-

  1. Apart from the screen/true tone, what other items are locked to the eeprom (meaning, will I lose anything else other than truetone?)?
  2. Is there any way of syncing the original screen to this new motherboard? Thanks!

hello S_G on model 8, the truetone is dependent on the front cam and sensors in its flex. If you have got original front cam flex (set=motherboard, home button, front cam flex), True Tone function recover is quite simply. regards,
