Hi, right my iPhone 8 is being a massive pain. What happened was that light through my phone ON THE BLANKET and therefore there was a soft landing and went to something else. After I came back, it would not turn on. I charged it for like a solid 3 hours… nothing. I tried a hard reset… nothing. I went in nothing broken, while closing I managed to rip a screen cable, so I have a new screen now, but it’s still not working. The battery was charged. I know that it’s charging because when I put it on a wireless charger it gets warm (like after 1.5 hours, which is normal). I just really don’t know what to do and I don’t know what could have caused it, because it literally landed in a blanket and was working completely fine before that.
First, you need to press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Then, press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Finally, press and hold the Side button (aka power) until you see the Apple Logo
If nothing else works then you should try with a new battery or screen(a cheap screen is not always gonna work)
