Hi, i did a housing swap for my iPhone 8 plus, and everything seems fine, but i can’t get it to charge with the charger wired, wirelessly it charges fine but when i plug it in it doesn’t charge. when the phone is ran out of battery and i plug it in the battery icon shows its charging, and if the phones off with battery and i plug it in, the apple logo shows but i can’t get it to show as charging without wireless charging when its actually on. can anyone help? thank you!
So what most likely is your issue, is that you damaged the charge port its self, it can be replaced but thats what your issue is to my knowledge. another way you can check too see if that is the issue check the microphone and see if that works and if the loud speakers work, if neither of them work as well with the charging then you need to get a charging port replacement
Was that backhousing a new one with preinstalled dockconnector? Otherwise take out your old dockconnector and try that one,
