My moms iPhone 8 plus came in the mail today. Plugged it in because it was completely dead, charged for 2+ hours, and it shows the red battery symbol once in a while (not every time you click the power button), but the device has yet to turn on. I have tried different chargers, hard reset, holding down the power button, and the device hasn’t turned on. What else can I try to get the device to turn on?
Maybe the battery needs to be replaced and is to weak/old to boot the iPhone.
