Hi, Have an iPhone 8 lying around where the touch-screen only functions with 3rd party screens. Not with OEM/refurbished screens.
Has anyone encountered this before?
The issue you faced is a known issue with iPhone 8. And I am sorry there is no solution to the problem. It is a manufacturing defect. Nothing can be done about it.
