I replaced the screen and battery of my phone a while ago. I used it for a week and then I put it away as a spare. Now I want to use it again, but it only gives me an apple logo when pluged in to power (connected to a pc it’s dead), then goes black with backlight on.
The phone is getting stuck in recovery mode (DFU mode to be exact in this case). Not really sure what would cause this over than putting long screws in the short screw hole for the screen connector which causes long screw damage (traces under the screw holes are broken when longer screws are put into them). You may be lucky if you just need to run an update or restore on the phone to get it working. Use either 3UTools or iTunes on a computer to do this.
