My iphone hasn’t been holding a good charge. Before installing a new battery I was getting about 12 hours of standby time. I purchased and installed the ifix it battery kit, and haven’t come up with different results in the battery life department. Is there a way to calibrate iphone batteries? Is there something else I can do to make my battery go longer? I’ve done all of the obvious things that I can such as turning down the brightness on the screen, setting auto lock to one or two minutes, turning off bluetooth, with the same results. Any ideas? I would swap in the old battery first and see if it shows a similar behavior. If it acted normal (like before the battery change) then I blame the new battery. Ifixit had a bad batch that were sent out with a lot of frustrated customers. Just contact them and they will send out a new one.
