Hi, My iPhone3GS GPS/compass doesn’t work. In the maps application the locate button doesn’t secure a lock. The compass application shows 0 deg at all times. Have tried restoring to 3.1.2 but doesn’t help. Looks like a h/w problem. Any pointers? TIA.
Has the phone ever been taken apart before? You may want to make sure that ribbons 6 & 7 are properly seated in their spaces.
