I keep Getting the message The iPhone “iPhone’“ could not be activated because the activation information could not be obtain from the device. Disconnect your iPhone, make sure the sim card is inserted correctly and, if you use a sim pin , tap unlock to enter it and the reconnect iPhone. Which I have replaced my sim card with a brand new one after trying to restore and update many of times. I Also can not get past the set up screen. The message I keep receiving is saying Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server cannot be reached. Try Connecting your iPhone to iTunes to activate it, or try again over the cellular connection in a couple of minutes. you can also try activate using a Wi-Fi connection.. When talking to apple support they told me that it was a software issue that it would cost me around $500 because they have to replace the back of my phone because of a crack, even with having apple care. Does any one know a solution to fixing the problem with out me send my phone to apple.
do you get service? any cellular signal bars? or when you insert a sim does it still say no sim? have you tried a sim from a different carrier?
