Hi, I tried to replace my iphone LCD with a new one but I damaged the home button flex cable. During the process, I forgot to unplugged the battery and now the phone is totally dead and itunes not recognizing the phone. Do you have any idea what I should do or what component that might be broken? Thank you so much

In an iPhone 6 unlike with 6s there’s no typical damage for replacing Lcd with battery attached. However other things can get shorted if power is flowing. Problem is since it’s not a typical issue it could have happened anywhere you worked. Not to leave anything untried check if your phone boots when leaving home button cable unplugged from logic board. If that doesn’t work try without other connectors (LCD, front Camera) if you have a pc to connect it to and check if iTunes recognizes it. In case nothing works you’ll need to hand it over to a reputable tech who has schematics and tools to find out and fix what’s wrong.
