Hey guys. Hopefully someone can be of some help. I have an iPhone 7 that the mic and ear piece speaker isn’t working. Also the headphones won’t get recognised when you plug them into the lightning port. I have replaced the ear piece speaker and the charge port mic flex ribbon. Still not working , any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Are you able to start a voice record in the voice recorder / voice memos app? And also during calls is the speakerphone mode greyed out / can’t turn on? If yes to either then the issue is related to the audio IC having a bad connection to the board. To fix this problem a experienced microsolderer that does board repairs for iPhones will need to fix that loose connection by using some jumper wires between the audio IC itself and on loose / broken solder pads on the phone’s logic board. You may be able to find a reputable phone repair shop locally that does board repairs for iPhones.
