Couple of things could’ve gone wrong here, number one did you check by the mic entry screen to see if there’s any blockage in it? Next thing is very common that people put their phones and cupholders in the car while driving down the street and don’t realize that there is liquid in the bottom of the cup holder so it possibly could have water damage! If this is so , Then you will need to replace out the charge port which also replaces your earphone jack and your microphone!
