Hey all. I just installed the ifixit replacement battery into my iPhone 11. It now starts up fine and everything seems to work just fine, except for the battery. Of course, I lost all the battery health information, but I expected that. It’s also showing 0% charge, and will restart randomly after a couple minutes. I have it plugged into a charger, but it does not show a charging symbol. It does make the sound and small vibration when it’s plugged in though. I tried force restarting it several times as well, it did nothing. Did I get a bad battery?

If your old battery was still charging you will need to open the phone back up and check the battery connector is seated properly also check that you haven’t nudged or knocked off any of the small components around the connector. After reseating the battery connector if it still will not charge you will need to try another replacement battery as the one you purchased is probably faulty.  If you’re old battery stopped charging and showing percentage the same as the replacement one you will have a board issue that will require a reputable repairer to diagnose.
