I recently replaced the battery on an iPhone 5S I got (the display was also broken) and everything seemed to work. But then the lightning connector broke and I replaced it (https://www.amazon.de/TechnikShop-Connec…) and now it’s not charging anymore. It shows the charging icon but the percentage is not increasing. The PC recognizes the iPhone via USB. Is the replacement lightning connector broken or bad and can you recommend any alternatives? Thanks PS: Sorry for my bad English :)
Honestl most likely just a bad battery or charging port if you replaced them. I would try a battery first if the port shows its making a connection, then a new dock connector. If those don’t work it’s probably your tristar chip on the board itself that needs replacing. Always use original cables with iPhones as aftermarket ones can send over voltage to your tristar charging chip damaging it. Hope this helps.
