Hello all, So I have this weird issue. iPhone SE is not charging until I power it down and power up with charger plugged in. Then it will charge as expected even if I disconnect and reconnect the charger. But if I shut down the phone and power it on without charger plugged in (just use the power button) it will not charge. Any suggestion what can be wrong? It almost looks like software problem but it is hard to believe it’s a software.
I could be wrong but didnt apple just put some power plan option in the new firmware? I know if you put the wrong pass code in it will disable the usb c port so it will not charge.. May be its an option in the new ios? Update (02/12/2019) sounds like a firmware issue to me or hardware issue.. try backing up your phone to icloud and restoring your phone. You have to options here.. 1. restoring to the new ios with out your info 2: to with .. id try with out your info first to rule out a hardware issue.. if all goes well restore with your info..
