My iphone 6s suddenly dropped from 80% charge to 30% and then died. Apple service center told its the battery /charging port issue and hence I replaced them. However, now the iphone dosen’t charges with any iphone lightning cables I have from previous devices. Infact, I tried two brand new cables from friends who have iphone 8 and X, but same issue. When I went back to service center they told the iphone is charging with their cable. I got one cable from them and now my phone charges but very slowly. Why is this so? Why my charging cables are working fine for other new/old apple devices but just not mine?
Do the cables go into the charging socket fully? Sometimes the charging port just needs to be cleaned carefully with fine tweezers to get rid of the dust and lint inside.
